Lightsaber

I created this image in Photoshop and used illustrator to add a handful of elements. The final image was distressed using a number of different brushes in photoshop.

A close up of the image shows each section of the blade is basically made with pixels. This is zoomed in at 600%. Eventually I would like to have the same design of the lightsaber deconstructed as a tattoo. I would probably want a different middle section that resembles the handle of my grandfathers screw driver to put something more meaningful in the design.
